Jeannette Hinkle is a reporter for The Cape Cod Times. The Massachusetts native attended the University of Michigan, after which she worked odd jobs (morgue cleaner, bouncer) before finding her way back to journalism, a job her grandma taught her to love. After a few years writing for small-town Massachusetts newspapers, she obtained a masters degree from Northwestern University’s graduate school of journalism, with a concentration in magazine writing. During her studies at Northwestern, she also focused on audio storytelling, data and investigative journalism, and contributed to the school’s Local News Initiative. After completing a Pulliam Fellowship in national politics at The Arizona Republic, she returned to Massachusetts to cover life and times in the cradle of liberty.
